KINGDOM
Mark 1:15, Luke 17:20-21; 9:2; 12:32, Matt 6:10, Rom 14:17
“For the kingdom of God is not a matter of rules about food and drink, but is in the realm of the Holy Spirit, filled with righteousness, peace, and joy.”
Romans 14:17 TPT
New seasons ushers in the intent of God for the world thru His children. And in moments like this, a blend of culture, rapid decline in faith, watered -down truth, ungodliness and the likes, only the Kingdom – the spiritual reign or authority of God, established will birth a revival.
This isn’t necessarily a futuristic event or a mystical moment in time to come. The Kingdom is first on the inside; Righteousness, Joy, Peace in the Holy Spirit. Therefore, every believer carries the kingdom and can replicate it in the world.
Our call as we begin the year is a call to first live out the kingdom and then spread the same to all men. Scripture speaking in Luke 17:20-21 says that the Kingdom is within our hearts when we allow Him to rule over our affairs.
God wants to establish His kingdom but only yielded men, men who are ready to obey His leading will influence their world and bring men to the knowledge of Christ! This call is a call to focus solely on matters of the kingdom.
What drives your heart? What stirs up passion in you? To see the kingdom at work in you multiplied in the lives of those you encounter or to satisfy your desires alone? Kingdom men and women are those who live yielded lives, forgetting self and taking on the will of the master. Be reminded that it is “His Kingdom and His will” that will be done on earth and not yours.
As we begin the journey to the climax, make up your mind to be a Kingdom man/woman because it is who you are created to be – sanctified and ready for the Master’s use.
