PERSEVERANCE IN PRAYER Habakkuk 2:1, Luke 18:1-8; 6:12, Ephesians 6:18, Romans 1:9, James 5:18.
When answers to prayers are not tangibly available to the believer, it’s not a call to slug nor slack in the prayer chamber, rathe, it’s only an indication that the vail of incense needs more to attract the attention of the king.
Perseverance means continued effort amidst obstacles and difficulties. The woman in Luke 18 persevered amidst the neglect of the King to her request but at last, got her request granted. This was the model Jesus gave to us; men ought always to pray and not to faint.
Perseverance in prayer has become a lost thread in the fabrics of the modern church and needs to be revived if ever we will shift the gates of hades because;
“What prayer cannot do; continual, consistent and voracious prayers can do.”
